About the Role
The Loan Processor will be responsible for obtaining all required diligence documents from borrower team and coordinating third party vendors and the deal team in connection with each loan. The Loan Processor will be the direct point of contact throughout the entire process for the borrower, navigating the loan through close. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Coordinate with Account Executives and borrowers to collect due diligence items
• Review, inspect and identify required documents related to the loan such as entity docs, IDs, bank statements, applications, etc.
• Meticulously organize and upload documents, borrower information, and loan information into multiple online systems
• Manage loan life cycle in pipeline including coordination between appraisal team, title and escrow, insurance, underwriting, and borrower to meet specific timelines
• Coordinate with internal deal teams and external vendors regarding pipeline forecasting
• Effectively apply project coordination and loan closing standards and apply best practices and processes for closings
• Other projects as they arise and assigned by Management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2 years commercial real estate loan closing and funding experience
Proficiency in Google Suite/Workspace or Microsoft Word, Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
Exceptional internal and external customer service
Escrow/title experience are pluses
Must pass credit and background check
